Prof. Dr. Mustafa Duman
Congress President

It is my great honor to invite you to the I. National Cancer and Obesity Congress, which will be held between March 25–28 in Antalya at the Trendy Perge Hotel.

Cancer is a multidimensional group of diseases that is closely associated not only with genetic and molecular levels, but also with metabolic processes and lifestyle. In particular, the effects of obesity on cancer development, progression, and response to treatment are at the center of oncological research today. Therefore, addressing the relationship between cancer and obesity with a holistic approach is of great importance.

Artificial intelligence–supported technologies provide revolutionary contributions in early diagnosis, risk classification, and treatment planning. With the integration of imaging, pathology, and molecular data, patient-specific treatment approaches are becoming more precise and effective. These developments are opening new horizons, especially in the fields of surgical oncology and molecular oncology.

At our congress, the interaction between cancer and obesity, the integration of artificial intelligence applications into clinical practice, innovations in surgical approaches, and current developments in molecular oncology will be comprehensively discussed with the contributions of leading experts in the field.

We would be delighted to welcome you to this important event, where scientific exchange and multidisciplinary collaboration will be at the forefront.

Bilimsel paylaşımın ve multidisipliner iş birliğinin ön planda olacağı bu önemli organizasyonda siz değerli meslektaşlarımızı aramızda görmekten büyük memnuniyet duyacağız.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Duman
Congress President

Congress President

Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the I. National Cancer and Obesity Congress. Our congress will be held between March 25–28 in Antalya at the Trendy Perge Hotel.

Today, obesity is recognized not only as a metabolic disease but also as a significant risk factor for many types of cancer. Inflammation originating from adipose tissue, hormonal changes, and metabolic dysregulations play a decisive role in cancer development and disease progression. Therefore, the prevention and effective management of obesity hold a critical place in the fight against cancer.

Advancing artificial intelligence applications provide significant advantages in personalized risk analysis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up. In particular, the intersection of metabolic surgery and surgical oncology, as well as advances in molecular oncology, are among the key elements shaping the medicine of the future.

At this congress, the biological and clinical relationship between obesity and cancer, AI-supported approaches, and multidisciplinary treatment models will be discussed in detail. Our aim is to bring together experts from different disciplines to establish a common scientific platform and to develop more effective strategies in patient management.

It would be a great honor for us to have you join this scientific platform, which we believe will be enriched by your valuable contributions.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Aziz Sümer
Congress President
